Power Steering Lag at start up

Just woundering if anyone else has this issue when you first start your cobalt and then start to turn the wheel and its hard to turn for a second or two, and then is normal. I notice that it only does this when i start it and turn the wheel. It doesnt do it every time tho every once in a while. But it will be hard to turn for a second or 2 and then turns with no problem, i know its electronic but im using this as an example of what its like. Its like with a hydrolic power steering when the belt to the pump slips and you loss the oil pressure and then the belt grabs again. But like a said only does it for the second after i start it release ebrake put in 1st and start to take off, then its fine the rest of the ride.

This is normal we all have this characteristic, the system isn't seeing any wheel speed input and then will adjust, there is nothing wrong. Also come on people the car needs a couple seconds to turn all the items on and working correct. It is amazing how many people we get in for heated seats saying they don't work right away, yeah no **** it is cold outside and it is more important to charge your battery then to warm your ass

Yeah i understand. All i do is give it a little move to the left and right and after that no issues.
