So I have an 08 TC,with about 8,000 miles on it. The problem I have is that when ever I go up a curb or down a gutter my driver side door makes a weird cracking noise im not sure what is causing this?? is this a common issue? thanks for your help!!

oh and btw could this be caused by jacking the car improperly causing the frame to move a little??

 

My car doesnt make one weird noise in the summer but in this cold weather everything makes weird noises. It could just be that. idk about the whole jacking it up thing most likely youll just bend something not strong enough but i doubt you bent the frame.

 

ya I didnt think it would be caused by jacking it up, so does your car do that when your driving up a curb in winter?

Mine is the passenger. it sounds like im running over a duck from my passenger fender evertime i hit a bump or go up my driveway. I checked the shock and everthings fine. Its just cold as hell.

i have a 07 it makes clunk noises in the winter when going over bumps. sounds like its comin from the driverside rear. it only does it in the winter....yes i blame the winter!

 

ok so maybe it is just winter cause I think that is the exact same problem i have

 

yea i think so...it was about 40f today and my car didnt make the noise. but when it gets below 35 it makes the noise
