What is your reason. I do it for the power. I like being pushed back in the seat when hitting that gas.

 

fun, hobby. It's enjoyable for me, even with all the cursing that goes with some of them lol but when I get the job done, sit back, and look at the work I did. It's nice

it a hobby and an addiction. you just can't stop. just like any other of my hobbies... wakeboarding, building rocket cars, home theater...you just want to keep going bigger and better

 

honestly, I mod to make my car my own... i know we have unique cars, but still... I don't want my car to be like the next... I want something that is all me! What about you?

 

I mod because other cars are faster. Lots of other cars are faster. When I'm out and about I want to have the fastest car. I want to show I have the fastest car. I want people to be scared when I give them a ride. I want to scare myself when I hit the gas.

I know there will always be a faster car, and when there is I will make mine faster. I haven't even barely started where I'm going with my cobalt.

 

To prove what me, and my car is capable of.

 

Because i want to.

i mod to make it better. all starts with lowering it, then an intake cause i wanna hear the whine, then i wanna hear the exhaust, then im trying to get rid of wheel hop, then the car doesnt ride so well so in go konis (eventualy), the intercooler pump dies so i gotta upgrade that, it just never ends. basicly i want to make it better.

 

i do it just as a hobby. i don't street race, and don't even really drive too far over the speed limit. i almost never get over 80mph. but i live on a mountain, and i love flying up the twisties. but pretty much everything i've done is performance oriented, besides maybe debadge and put the lo rise instead of hi rise. other than that, nothing has gone on the car that didn't help performance in some way.

 

because i like to blow all of my money!!!

 

another thing is, when one part bites the dust, I replace it with the aftermarket alternative, instead of staying OEM.

 

sometimes aftermarket is better

entertain myself, impress others , go fast etc.

 

because stock is boring.

adding diffrent pieced to your car shows what your into and your personality. some like show, some like go. for me , a little of both.
