stock does kind of suck. having a modded car is nice because you can drive up to an "identical" car and know you can smoke it.

 

the ONLY time stock is better than aftermarket is if you're a cheap bastard that shops by price. if you shop by QUALITY rather than price, you will never get a part that is not better than oem.

 

Just a hobby, I like being pushed back into the seat, but i also like just sitting in the garage with the radio blasting, wrenching on my car.

 

I want my car to look and sound like it's mine. It's also a fun hobby that I enjoy and something my girlfriend won't complain about me doing. She hates my video games so much...

Its fun, i don't go fast to often or street race, nor have i ever been to the track, i do get on my car. But nothing is more satisfying than just cruising in your car by yourself so to say just enjoying life.

 

I have a desire to learn how everything works and to make it better in every aspect. This applies to cars, computers, etc. today. And it started with legos and knex and erector set as a kid.

 

I mod my car because thats who i am, and i got nothing else to show for

I mod becuase I'm only 21 and I want my first car to be fast (obviously) and very good looking.

I'm more for apperance mods being that the car is at a moderatly good speed. No need to get to 60mph faster than what I need right now. I get up on it but not much.

I want to be able to go to car shows and beat the scions.

I mean come on, Why let the scions have all the fun ;]

 

i mod because stock sucks, i like having a decent looking car, I love speed and power, its the second best thing to do other than sex hah, its a passion, its a stress releiver from schoo./work etc, I like to prove others wrong on what my car is capable or I can make it capable off

 

becasue my car likes being a big money pit

because im 16 with nothing better to spend money on..... only other thing i have going for me is grades

im just an average athlete that plays high school baseball as an average player

the car gets me away from all the political sports ****, all the ******** at school and just other bullshit in general

I'm new here just to let ya know, but like Jbernal said, i mod my car so I feel like it's my own car. obviously I own my car, but it just feels like another Cobalt until I change it

I mod because I like the whole automotive concept of racing and performance. Feels like a self of accomplishment of doing something I like. And of course making my car perform faster.

 

Something to do... keeps me out of trouble!
