Anyone know where we can autocross in FL or a racing school of some sort?

 

Maybe go here and find your region and either contact them or go to their site and they will tell you where they hold events.

Look at number in the map where you live and then look at the bottom of the page for that number and contact those people.

Every second Sunday of the month at Tevares there's an auto-x event.

 

They have thme out at orlando speed world every now and then. Go to their site and check it out. Not sure exactly what the site is anymore though.

brookesville, and over here in clearwater SPC holds something every once and while, heard its pretty crappy though

 

I race at SCCA events all over the Southeast and have only seen ONE Cobalt...

The one I ran for the dealership!!!!

It is not expensive, it gives you a chance to show off your car and driving skills (or lack there of), and you can drive like an idiot and not get arrested!!!

Get some people together and REPRESENT!!! There are 5 Subaru's to every other car there. There is an STS class that puts SS's up against other street tired cars like VTech Honda's, Ford Focus's, Honda Prelude's etc. You can also slap on steet legal slicks and run in D Stock against WRX's (not STi's) on slicks. It is a real good way to spend a Sunday!!!
