Excessive tire noise from 45-70 mph

So driving the SS/TC the other day I noticed that while reaching speed of 45-70 mph, I get a lot of tire noise....sort of a buzzing sound...and it can even be felt in the pedal. And this was not temp related because it was fine on even colder days.

Other then the noise, the car is functioning perfectly. Any ideas as to why the tires would be making noise like this?

What tires you got? Just wondering.

You can check if you have a nail in your tire, or sometimes rocks that got stuck in the thread.

I knew I shouldnt have reved it to 30,000 RPM....

As for the noise, is it possible that uneven wear could do that?

I have a ss/sc and have the exact same problem. I have changed all the suspension parts and changed different wheels and tires. The problem is still there. I have seen this problems with a few other members but i dont think anyone has found out what it is.

Nothing if you're under warranty.

Some tire noise is normal and it usually occurs at a certain speed range. Just turn the stereo up louder! lol

Get some Nitto Invo tires. They are specifically designed to be a quiet performance tire.

Is it just noise or is there vibration too? If there is vibration could be bearings or even just one of the tires.

does swerving dramatically change the noise? If not its most likely NOT a bearing

How many miles, have you rotated your tires yet?

Ive noticed that TCs seem to have a decent amount of tire noise especially from the rear.

I've heard good things about Damplifier. Dynamat is not necessarily the best option out there.

Turning does not seem to effect it one way or the other.
