yup, my sunroof is rattling almost like its loose.. no water is leaking. It just wiggles around A LOT when im driving.. especially on roads that arent totally smooth.. the streets here in Phoenix have tiny cracks... and when i drive over train tracks, its rattles a lot too..

ideas?

would the dealer look at it? i still have warranty bumper to bumper.

Likely the shade thats rattling, makes a squeaking / rattling noise (I call it a skrattle)......annoying as hell.
Mine does anyway, not had the time to take it in yet......hope they don't have to drop the whole interior out just to get at it I can just see every other piece they touch rattling as the warranty expires

 

If you have warranty then def. use it.

 

wait till you lower your car. Every rattle gets magnified ...drives me nuts.

 

Sometimes it's the seal around the glass that makes the noise. I was surprised when mine quieted down after putting some Superlube (silicone gel lube) on the seal.

 

i took it in today and had them replace both my visor mirror covers.. the passenger one came off and the one on the drivers side was hangin by just one hinge.. i swear, those visor mirror covers are cheap as hell.. makes me upset.

I asked them about the sunroof.. told me it would take a few hours.. i had hw to do, pick up my mom from work, and have an online exam in a bit.. i didnt have time to wait for them to take a look, and fix it.. i will be going again next friday... i wont have school or work that day.

 

Let us know how that goes... There's quite a few of us on here waiting until spring to have ours warrantied.

before you take it in to the dealership do you have any mount inserts or torque dampers...

 

nope.. sure dont.. car is completely stock. except for the radio and tinted tails.
