I am going to look at and probably buy a cobalt thats for sale locally for a great deal. Since I am sort of new to these cars I would like to ask you guys if you think these problems are serious or could cost a lot to fix.

He said "The abs light and airbag light are on but it's just a system malfunction . The engine light comes on and off everytime I put gas in."

It also has a non working sunroof and a key broke off in the passenger side door.

Any opinions on causes or advice on these problems would be very appreciated! I hope to be apart of the cobalt community soon!

 

Unless it's dirt cheap, wait and find another one.

I wouldn't call the issues common, minus the sunroof issue.
