got a question for ya local boys!!

alright! so here's my dilemma:

i removed the front "bowtie" and seperated it from the chrome trim!! i plan on painting it gunmetal!! think it will look pretty sweet imo... now what i'm wondering is what would look better? the back bowtie matched to the same!! gunmetal chrome trim piece??? or just remove it all together??? i don't really wanna de-badge the whole rear just yet cause i kinda like the looks of it, maybe de-badge it later on down the road but right now i like the looks of it!! but i do think it will look alot cleaner with it removed!! what do u guys think would be best?

is the rear held on the same as the front?? with a strip of 2-way tape underneath it?? if that's the case i can just take a heatgun to the emblem while it's on the car and pop the gold piece off and paint it and re-install it in the same location without guessing where it is!

the back one is held on with 2 sided tape, the front one is held on by self threading nuts.
i would match the rear that would look good, im like you i dis like the de badged look on our cars, thats why im taking everything off my old trunk and putting it on my CF trunk

i donno how your front bowtie was held on!! mine was on with the screws but the gold piece was held on to the chrome trim with a strip of two-way tape! i already have it seperated just have to wait for warmer weather to paint it outside!, just curious if the gold piece comes off the chrome trim on the back like it does the front! i know the complete emblem is 2-way'd taped on the back and it's not screwed in just curious about the gold and the chrome, prob pretty much the same so the gold is 2-wayed on to the chrome backing... if that's the case i'll just heat it up while on the car pop the gold off paint it and slap it back on the chrome trim thus eliminating the guess work of where the emblem goes!
