Another Exhaust Question.

so i tried to search it btu i couldnt find it anything on the forums but does anyone unbolt there exhaust on there ss/sc's i know celica and type-s owners do it alot and it sounds sick.

what do you mean? like running no exhaust, just striaght headers into the atmosphere? that would be loud as hell, and not sound good at all.

You can unbolt the Cat-back exhaust from the DP at the track if you want to be NOISY... -- it would be like running an open header.

No thats not what i mean, the celica and rsx-s owners do it where there exhaust piping meets there muffler it is held together by two bolts when taken off on those cars it actually sounds better then most aftermarket exhaust my fiance and i bought a type-s and i am going to unbolt it because imo it sounds awesome i was just wondering if anyone has done it to the cobalts, if so let me know if you liked it and then i will try it on mine.

Stock Cobalt Mufflers/exhausts do not have another area to unbolt...just between Manifold-and-DP and the DP-and-Cat/back. The rest is welded together.
