Anyone running Axis Decade's 18 x 8 with a 45 off set

I just got my rims, I test fit one on the car today and my consern is the back of the rim is about a 1/2 inch away from the strut, im going to run a 225-40 tire, should I be ok as far as not rubbing, I can fit my pinkey finger in between the rim and the strut, what do you guys think? will I be ok?

Im going to post a pick in my VBgarage

If you're concerned get some spacers and you'll be fine.

I would use a 5mm spacer just to bring them out so they are more flush with the fenders. The wheels in this pic are 18x8, +38 offset with 235/40 tires.

they are dead on flush with out the spacers, I checked that out as well, thats another reason i dont want to use spacers I dont want them to stick out past the fenders in which they will if I add any size spacer.

225/40 tires should be fine. If you have any issues, you can always get a small spacer, but you should be fine. I thought the 235's looked a bit wide on my 8" ADR's. If I get 8" wheels again, they will have 225's on them. I think I am getting 8.5" (+38 offset) rims with 235's though.
