Wheel adapters

I saw on here the other day someone had a link for custom wheel adapters. I can't find the thread now. I bought 18" 07 SC wheels for my 08 TC and have found that they won't work. I saw on the site the kink took me that they had 3/4" adapters that they could make 5-110 to 5-110. I want to go this route. Can anyone help me out with the link?

Hey fang, I found the link on one of the sticky posts. Here it is http://www.skulte.com/info_pages.php/pages_id/3

It looks like they will make any custom adapters. I am thinking 3/4" adapter, 5-110 to 5-110. This will give the SS/SC wheels clearance from the brakes. I'll let everyone know if the extra 3/4" will give any fender rubbing. Give me a little time, it looks like there will be a few week turnaround. Let's hope that the snow stays away.

Does it really need that much? 3/4" is a lot for a wheel spacer.

I test fitted the wheel with no tire on the hub. It lacks around 1/2" of going on when the wheel hits the caliper. I am going with a 3/4" adapter, not a spacer. The adapter will bolt on the hub, then bolt the wheel to the adapetr. The two problems I am anticipating are, 1- having to drill out come relief holes in the back of the wheels for the stock wheel studs. And 2- spacing the wheels 3/4" outward will they rub on anything when I go lock to lock with the steering. The SS/SC wheels are 1/2" narrower, so assuming that the backspacing is the same that will give me 1/4" less to the outside of the wheel, so my adapters will only place the wheel 1/2" firther outboard. I am hoping they will clear and not rub and not be places outboard so far that I will be getting a lot of road debirs being kicked further down the side of the car.
