alright so what are your opinions on this?? is it worth it? anyone have it?? if i were to purchase what would i expect to put down for numbers??? any info would help alot!! just trying to get a feel for things b4 i accually buy a stage kit for my S/C...thanx guys

 

im assuming you car talking about the Cobalt Addiction Stage 5. My guess for numbers with all that would be around 270-280whp. But thats with a good tune.

 

I would start with the OTT Stage kit for $425, then purchase there heat exchanger, and purchase one of the 2 methanol kits currently for sale on this regional forum(Chad463 and Domestic Rush) both have them for sale. You would save over $500US plus its known not to go to a 2.6"pulley, I would stick with no smaller than a 2.8.

The OTT kit comes with

2.8" pulley and hub
60lb injectors
injector harness
Shortened GM Stage 2 belt (+$35)
HP Tune file
NGK 1 step colder plugs

there heat exchager is massive and is $240

I doubt he will see that, he is still on stock exhaust as well...my quess is 250whp with a OTT stage kit and a heat exchanger, especally on the crappy 91 octane fuel...not to mention no one in atlantic canada has been able to break 260whp yet (257whp was the highest) and a few have had way more mods than the ott stage kit

 

well im at 230hp with just CAI, 60lb,2.8 and a base tune. Pretty sure u add in all that stuff and get a tune u might be able to break it. So i gotta ask quicksilver....why buying another H/E? And soon ill break 300hp (hopefully) have my TVS in by the summer

 

Had to bring my car in for warranty work, needed to take the c/a one off just in case, i also was planning on going reg force for the military so i thought i wasnt going to need my car, but then i decided to just go reserves for the short term, anyways...getting my car back soon and just wanted the h/e for some insurance....got a sweet deal on it so i could not pass it up. just gonna run stage 2 setup this year, swapped my 60's with Zekdemos, sold the h/e and devils own kit to you.

yea i got the h/e in....meth is mounted but not hooked up, i finally got the tb spacer this week but im waiting until the weather gets better to hook meth up...or until i get my tvs here that way i dont have to waste time/money on 2 different tunes. Like someone said in another post....alot of upgrades/work went into my car in the past few months or since you seen it. I'm about to go put on a chrome rad hose from C/A on now and maybe pull the supercharger or valve cover off to re-sand and polish that some more.

damn....216 stock is awesome. I guess it really does matter what dyno u go on. Because with my S2 kit i only got 230whp

 

the dyno would of more then likely been the one you used. Dyno Daves Dyno goes to alot of car shows and right now its at james shop.
