New Exhaust & Sound (video)

J BODY PERFORMANCE HEADER - 1 5/8" PRIMARIES TO A 3" COLLECTOR

CUSTOM 3" DOWN PIPE W/ A 3" HIGH FLOW CAT, AND 3X8 FLEX PIPE

3" GLASSPACK RESONATOR

3" PIPING

3" MAGANFLOW STRAIGHT THRU MUFFLER (5"X11"X22")

It's surprisingly very quiet

At sea level; peak boost in 3RD on the 3" pulley is almost 13 PSI (Correction... goes to 16 psi past 6,000 rpm)
Feels like I lost a lot of my low end, nothing a night out tuning won't change.

Yeah... thats always a lil more difficult to get lol... requires going out... leaving the camera on the sidewalk... and doing a quick pull.

Do a CC08 video and stick the camera on the front of your car and drive around

Sounds really good and clean. question. Do you lose some tq now with the 3". I dunno if what i heard was true or not but someone was saying that you only benefit from a 3" exhaust if you pushing at least like 20 psi. Is this true?

I didn't see that thread

I don't need anymore attention on the road.

Yes you do lose your low end a bit. Especially since I'm experimenting w/ a 3" pulley.

But... and I mean a big BUT!...

Now that my exhaust is flowing properly; I'll turn the meth on and see what I can accomplish within HPTuners

I'm running very conservatively in my low - mid-range on my spark advance table in HPT. The car's top end is practically maxed out, minus 2* for safety purposes.
One thing I've noticed tuning for methanol or no methanol on a 3" pulley. Is that the car maxes out top end w/ or without it. Where the methanol helps is our initial mashing of WOT(And thats the key difference between some of the tuner guys on here and the ones who are tuned. They tune for trq, while all these guys getting tuned, tune for HP). I'm gonna experiment w/ spark advance a bit more now that my fueling is dialed in.

no...2.8 pulley and smaller will benfit more with having a 3' instead of doing a 2.5

Wow, I'd like to hear a flyby vid of the motor with some load on it, but that is one of the better exhaust setups I have heard, I really like it
