they dont do that on cars, you either have 4 wheel ABS or you dont have it at all.

Great, so what should i do? Maybe I am a little confused? I have calipers in the front, but none in the back. That means I only have front wheel ABS right?

My truck only has rear wheel abs...

Just because it has drum brakes on the rear does not mean they aren't ABS

x2, I'm thinking he's confused with disc and drum. You can have ABS on drum brakes.

Or to put it another way - yes, absolutely, go into the dealership and raise hell. In fact the more employees you rant and rave to the better. In troubled times everyone could use a good laugh...

all anti lock means is when you put the pedal to the floor, they pump themselves so they dont lock, is availible in vehicles with drums and disk brakes.

And my ram only has rwal brakes.

Give the guy a break. That was a good question. Its not like you would find that on a search. I give the guy props for asking. That is what the site is for. Yet we can have homo threads about nothing to do with cobalts and they get locked. Or the worse lock of all time when Roadrage's thread got locked when he posted a company selling AEM widebands for the best price anywhere online. It got locked by **** Reign...imagine that.

Look at it this way, better here than actually raising hell at the dealer's....

But I'm sure you have ABS on all 4 wheels, my Malibu is disc/drum and has ABS on all 4 corners. The pickups have ABS on the rears only, to help compensate for light rear ends if the truck isn't loaded, but I don't know of any vehicles in production with front-only ABS.
