my balt got rear ended

any collision guys have any idea what the damage is?

the trunk appears fine and opens and closes. no lights were broken and the rear quarters are good.

just curious what all the damage could be.

Looks like you're getting an aftermarket rear bumper!

Just looks like you need a bumper cover and impact absorber. I cant recall the prices off the top of my head but I figure it about $500 - 600 total. Maybe you try and haggle for a SS bumper?
Sucks that you got rear ended tho..

Yeah man, you'll be getting a new rear cover, and possibly a new energy absorber. Other than that, you'll be fine. I see people suggesting $500-$600. That might be a little low... at least where I work. lol

But that is hardly something to worry about. Small repair.

I said 500-600 just for parts, GM Parts Direct has the absorber at 105 and the cover at 490. I didn't include labour or paint which probably should have lol so its gonna be more. But thats what insurance is for, unless you have a high deductible....
