i have an 05 ss/sc and on my way to wrk the other day it suddenly stalled and flashed eng power reduced i tried startin the car twice and no go it just puttered and died again. after sittin for about 5-10 min the car did start but now im throwin a check engine light. if u can help me diagnose the problem tht wld be great. thanks.

 

man this used to happen a lot to people a while back... I can't remember what it was... consider this a bump

 

yep happened to me 2 days ago..what mods do u have???? mine ended up being a p0069 and alot of other codess. but the p0069 comes around...which is i belive supercharger inlet pressure/baro...hows the wheather been where u live???changed alot?? also try cleaning out ur throttle body.

on this page, I just bumped it up, having same issue.

 

turn off hte car, unplug the battery, wait 10 min, plug in the battery, start they car.

or buy a ****** interceptor so you dont have this problem

 

P1182 will do that to you too... I have that code and it will not go away, its real annoying.

 

i had same problem but it was my map sensor.

 

Manifold Absolute Pressure code... I ended up just deleting that code!

 

used to happen to me when i beat on it...... went away in like 20 min (one time i was lucky enough to have a quicky when it happened ) mine never turned off tho it just wouldn't let me rev above 1k i think it was.... maybe 2k now that i think of it lol

 

happends to me sometimes to and i have a 05 ss and its throwing 7 code one of them is the maf clean the tb and maf and unplugging the battery has never work for me after the car does it system check the light always comes back

 

Mine did the same thing it was the tb sensor.

I am getting mine deleted today... I cant drive for ten minutes then pin it without doing it... it sucks.

So it seems like the OP has a couple different options of what the code could be. Get it scanned from autozone. Let us know.

Crank Shaft Positioning sensor ill do that. If the censor goes bad the car will stall and died.
I got my replace at the dealership...

i think the code is oo35p something like it.

 

mine did this the same day i got it.. it was the map and now it does it cause the cat is clogged and needs to be clean.

I had this happen and they ended up replacing everything, sensors, pcm, plugs, took them 3 weeks to figure it out, they really never figured out what caused the issue either just went away after 1500 worth of warranty work

 

jst got it fixed turned out to be map sensor but thanks for the help.
