My fitment issues were a bit worse then the intake rubbing against the bumper. The way the bend in the intake was, my hood had actually contacted the intake resulting in a huge dent.
As for injen, all i did was e-mail tech support and talked to them. Nice people no complaints.

sorry for my spelling...i did my best...i'm a french guy...if i dont really want to return it to injen...did anybody know if some bending or another filter could fit more properly without damaging the CAI??
Bro I have the same problem with my injen cai. I just got off the phone with injen and they are replacing it. All you have to do is email them, tech@injen.com with the QC# from your box, your reciept, the color and your personal info like name and address etc. You can do this without sending yours in first. They will hold a $50.00 deposit untill they get your defective cai back. They send a return tag with the new cai. I'm in the progress of doing this because the fitment is rediculous. Mine is now scratched and the boot doesn't fit flush. Hope that helps everyone with the fitment problems.
just ordered one from turbo tech hope i got a good one. its taking fedex like four days to get it out of mn. its going from town to town in that state. i called fedex to see if they were walking the dam thing to me.

I managed to get mine to fit fairly good. I have to make a bracket to bolt it to though. I also have a big mark on the top of it now from where the hood rubs on it.

I thought Turbo Tech was supposed to have the new stock in. I would hope Turbo Tech sends the old stock back and gets the new version from Injen. Instead of using having to go to the trouble of trying it out and finding out it's the old stock.
We do have the new stock in, are you guys sure... as of this week all intakes shipped out are the newest.... Unless we had one mixed in the batch. Call Injen with the QC date on the box. They will tell you if it is the new design.

My bad
