Has anybody actually tested to see how acurate the horsepower reading is on there interceptor?

the interceptor will show bHP based on airflow only. It doesnt take into consideration timing or CR at all, so it wont be horribly accurate. Its along the lines of estimating your HP based on IDC, not really that accurate, but decent for getting a round estimate

i dunno but i was messing around with mine one night and it said i had 430hp. i dont think thats too accurate. lol

I didn't get to run 3rd gear all the way out but around 6k it said i had 284hp.

i think some are closer than others. mine said 306hp at 6700rpm.

wheelspin counts as movement, so its not very accurate if you spin your tires...go for a controlled launch
mine gives me my 265bhp in my sig...seems accurate for me

to get the gauge accurate you need a dyno pull and you can calibrate it. it would help if you put one in a stock car, dynoed, then modded it, you would be able to accurately see the gains.
