Ok so I'm pickin up this motor and its out of a neww malibu and my qestion is will it just drop right in or will I have to change sensors and stuff around when I looked it up it gives me the same specs as the cobalt motor .. so if there's a difference please let me know thankks

 

What year is the Malibu? I'm pretty sure you're going to have to do a lot more than just take the old engine out and drop in the new.

 

Wiring is going to be hell, but I believe it will bolt up fine. Don't expect anything to work electronically.

Not worth the hassle imo.
