I admit I don't know much about these intakes, but i've read somewhere along the line that the second generation Injen intakes fit better then the earlier model. What is this one? how does it fit? And CEL's?

Thanks for any info...

Oh and what was your reason for switching to the RAW intake?

there are no cels it is the 2nd gen one and if it is not installed right it will hit the hood strut and it rubs a little where it goes into the wheel well but i will include a rubber piece that came with the intake so it doesnt rub a hole threw it and i went with the raw intake because i wanted a 3 inch intake and when i bought the injen i couldnt afford the raw intake

Good to know. I would buy this in a second but I am still a little concerned about the aluminum, and the chance for a hole to develop.

And how is the sound?

I have the first gen. As long as u have a rubber piece where it is rubbing it wont get a hole rubbed in it.
