does a new clutch need to be broken in b 4 racing?

does a new clutch need to be broken in b 4 racing?

well the title asks it all lol, changing my clutch tomm with an oem replacement from exedy, and I want to race a mustang on sunday morning but I don't know if I need to break in the clutch first.

damn, how do I know when the clutch is break in?? and how do I do that??

It should be in the instructions included with the clutch.

drive it for around 400 miles. so put it in tomorrow, drive to Orlando, then back to miami, then you'll be ready for sunday morning.

Just DON'T hot rod it after installing it. Ride around with it for at LEAST a couple hundred miles.

Wrong... you need to put city miles on it not highway miles... my spec clutch said 500 city miles

all highway doesnt count. You have tho shift through the gears engaging and disengaging the clutch.
