Brake annuciator illuminating intermittently

I was driving at constant freeway speed last night and my brake annuciator flashed at me twice, very quickly each time, just a split second. E-brake handle is fully down, so that wasn't it. Any ideas?

There's a TSB out for it, go in and they'll reflash the BCM. I had the same problem.

I had that problem on the first Cobalt. never did anything about it though.

It was never consistant enough to cause me to worry.

I am pretty sure though there is a bulletin out about it.

Actually it's the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) that gets reflashed via pass-through programming. TSB is #05-08-49-019 released 06/22/2005 and pertains to 05 models only.
