Analog Boost Gauge
I wanted the RPD, but all I could get was the analog, and I have had no problems with it. I like it very much.
i just got the analog gauge because i wanted the option to add more....the rpd is nice but i couldnt stand having a gps on the pillar in my truck i really dont think i woulda been happy with it on the pillar in the ss. so yeah overall im actually taking the stock one out and replacing it with a custom setup that aeroforce is doing fo rme.
I know several people on here have them... but when I asked the dealer about it.... they said that it would cost about a thousand dollars because they have to change the wiring harness in the dash... so I will stick my my round analog boost gauge, then put a dual interceptor set up in the ZZP three pod setup.
I might have ordered the performance display but it wasn't available yet when I bought my car. Thinking about it more now, I'm pretty happy with the regular gauge. It's simple and doesn't get in the way or distract and if I need access to OBD-II data I can always pull out my scan tool.
Also one other thing on the standard "analog" faced gauge, it's also electronic and isn't a mechanical gauge using a boost/vacuum reference line like many less expensive gauges. It works great I'm glad that's what GM decided to use. Mechanical gauges are usually cheaper but unless you buy an expensive, high quality model, they are usually less accurate and can have issues if ever overboosted past their range.

I'm in love with my RPD, and wish my MR2 had one
I was very pleasantly surprised when the car I test drove and then bought had it. All of the other dealers only had analog.
Mine doesn't night blind you either since you can turn the contrast way down OR the dimmer itself too.

i have an 08, which i dont think it was offered? either way i like the stock analog one, but the RPD sounds like its pretty cool too. i like the sleek, racey look of the basic gauge but the RPD has some decent features.
Being able to see your AFR alone is worth the price of teh option. I mean your choices are usually OBDII datalogger or buy a wideband. Not to mention a quick view of knock retard and all that jazz.
