South Central, The War has begun!

SATURDAY MARCH 21ST 2009!
This is GCE's first sponsored car show. The War will be going down in Gulfport, MS and we encourage all who are interested to attend. We need a parking problem folks! As the flier says, only 100 spots are available, so first come first serve! As the title says, this is an "Imports vs Domestics" show, so bring all of your friends for some friendly competition! If anyone is interested further more please PM me or post in this thread for answers to any questions you may have or for further details.

24 views and no interest? Come on now. Surely there's some people from Slidell/Baton Rouge area looking to show off their car for a trophy and some other prizes.

True. The invitation is extended to all who wish to come, but I'm not expecting anyone other than the Louisiana folks to pay attention to this. I've heard a lot about the bash tho. How did it turn out?

And nice Cavy BTW

We will definitely be looking out for it next year. We had a meet planned in Mobile on the day of the bash, so we couldn't make it.

We had EXCELLENT weather. Our meet probably wasn't as big as the bash, but we 15-20 Ecotec owners show up. 2 LNF Cobalt's, 1 cavy, 2 ion redlines, 2 2.2's, 1 2.4 SS, and the rest LSJ's. We also met with two other car clubs with various imports. It was only a one day thing. Let me find a good picture...

Next year it'll be a judged show. Like this one coming up.

wow..yea you did have better weather lol
looks like a good meet!
i counted around 130 cars at one point..all gm compact..at bash this year, however while the track was supposed to be 1/4 mile we got hit with a cold front that brought 40* weather and 35mph cross wind..so the track was dropped to 1/8 mile for safety..it kinda disappointed alot , but what can ya do ??

Run the 1/8th and be happy about it I guess. That's a lot of damn gm compacts though. No where near that many enthuisiasts down here.... Atleast with a gm compact. And here I am thinking 15 ecotecs was a lot lol
