Dealer replaced my MAP for a P0107 , low voltage map sensor.... New part number matches up correctly but it's limiting my tune to 17-18 psi with an occassional jump to 19 psi instead of 21-23psi, this sucks but either way that's about 18-24 hp in pwr loss... and believe me I can feel the loss of pwr.. car hardly scratches the front tires in second gear if at all.......... What to do??? No leaks of any kind in the pipes, or anyplace.......

id take it back to the dealer and tell them you lost 5 lbs of boost from the replacing the MAP

or maybe the old MAP tricked your computer somehow and it threw out extra/less fuel and it gave you an extra 5lbs. (just thinking because P0107 is a lean fuel mixture code)

p0107 is map sensor voltage low, p0171 is exhaust lean bank 1. both are very different codes.

Could it take more than 50 miles to learn that voltage is restored and boost might come back or ?

I was thinking maybe they put in the 2 bar map from the 2.0 SC\SS.. But I'm not sure if they're the same part numbers and the TC\SS has a stock 2.5 bar map.... Either way it's strange and Psychosteve has checked the car...... nothing out of the ordinary for the low boost that he could see..... unless the turbo is going bad (23k miles) I change my oil every 3k miles...... no leaks anyplace... nothing unplugged.... just plain odd.....
