timing cover

is this piece o-ringed or do i need to seal it with rtv when i go to re install. i havent removed it yet so im just trying to be prepared before i tear it down

#4 timing cover gasket $21.66 from gmpartsdirect
#5 crankshaft seal $6.18

those are the only 2 i see that involce the timing cover which is #3
