UEGO power from factory boost gauge

Anyone use the power from the stock boost gauge to power a UEGO? I used it for the Interceptor, works great, now I have a UEGO, and took out the stock gauge, should be enough juice to run both. Any suggestions?

Guessing off the top of my head it would be OK. I ran a wire from the sunroof over for my Interceptor. That might be an option for you if you dont want to chance it, the sunroof is set to go off when the door opens as well.

If not you can just run a wire from your fuse panel under your dash, there are plenty of empty slots that you can use

Got it all hooked up and the Interceptor is barely visable, its working but I can't see the display very well, I guess it won't hold both. UEGO works fine, I spliced that one on the power wire first, must be drawing all the power.

Run from the sunroof, and use one of these things:

Thats how I did it, no problems for over a year.

I unhooked the UEGO and had the same problem, figured out that I turned the contrast almost off inadvertantly. the left button was stuck down somehow and it went into the menu upon startup and I pressed the right button which worked until the next time I started it up blank screen. Just an FYI for those of you that have a similar problem. Good times, works now.
