The Problem I am having is that the drivers side door pins are sloppy does anyone know why this happened? I don't hang off of the door or ever put any weight on it. So I am at a loss. How hard are they to change, and has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance for any info anyone can give me. :ca:

Alls it takes is to get caught in the wind once.

i had this problem on my old truck due to dirt and mud getting in there and wearing them down. The wind and opening your door hard will also cause it. I had the dealer do mine as they are press fit on the pickups not sure if these cars are easier.

Most common cause is the hinges are not being lubricated. Your Owners Manual lists the recommended lube. I lube mine once or twice a year and I have never worn out a hinge. How many times have you lubed your hinges?

I only bought the car about 10 months ago so I have never lubed them. I guess I'll have to buy new pins and the proper lube to fix it. Thanks Guys:ca:
