it happened again

Its weird im cruisin around 60 then i floor it and the car acts like its shifts up to early i have an auto btw any reason it would do this all i have is a k&n intake

Do you mean it doesn't take it close to redline?

Like it shifts at 4,000 RPMs????

it should indeed shift between 68 and 74moh, depending on tire size. BTW, it wont pull to redline if you're anywhere under 100% WOT. 90% throttle will shift the car before it even kits 6,000rpms

They are right if your not 100% WOT it will shift earlier than expected. Its the problem you deal with when you drive an automatic.

Ok i was cruising about 65 the went to 100% wot then it shifted around 5500 rpm

I seem to have the same problem it dosn't hold the shifts as long as it should before or after i had it tuned and supposedly my shift points were bumped up to 7100 er so WOT.

i just got he b&m shift plus installed and it seemed to help out alot maybe its just our sucky trans

the shifts are slow order a b&m shift plus put in stage 1 or 2 and then back to stock and tell me that the shifts dont suck

the tranny is programmed for a smooth shift, thats all. just because its tuned more for comfort than performance doesnt mean it sucks...

shift plus is awesome i suggest it if you just want to hook up a couple wires instead of gettinga tranny tune
