MagnaFlow Exhaust and Injen Intake

I absolutely need to know that the injen intake and magnaflow exhaust will fit on the 2.4!!! I've gone to both of their sites and they all say that they are for the 2.2 only. Please let me know, are there any mods that have to be done??? Please someone help me out...

GMPP is 2.25 all the way through. The only gains you get with the gmpp are due to the less restrictive muffler. I'm planning on the Monza exhaust with TTR. They've got the exhaust for 189.99. All 2.5" piping. I'm just planning on replacing the muffler some time afterwards to something less restrictive. But even 189 for just 2.5" piping is super cheap!

sometimes to big of pipping size can decrease horspower and create alot of back pressure thats why 2.25 is the best way to go on our cars im sure 2.5 wont hurt im just throwin that out

and its not lack of back pressure, its exhaust velocity is what where worried about. A 2.4l w/vvt pushing out 170+ hp can definatly utilize 2.5" pipe.

im not sayin that 2.5 cant be used just there wont be much of a difference between a 2.25 and a 2.5 like most people r sayin that the 2.5 is like the best way to go to tell yah the truth theres probably no difference except sound.... i think magnaflow is the best way to go its well known brand and is on alot of cars.. and if people think the 2.5 puts out mor epower then dyno a cobalt with just magnaflow exhaust and dyno and cobalt with corsa on

A member on here dyno'd with an injen intake only, 5-speed, on a mustang dyno hit 143hp. I dyno'd with injen intake, and full 2.5" exhaust, 5speed on a mustang dyno and i dyoed at 148hp. Half of the stock exhaust is 2.5" why would anyone want to go smaller then stock??

i like the DC Sports for the non-SS S/C people. too bad they don't make a 2.5" version or i'd scoop it.

Personally, I bought the AEM CAI for 249.99 I think or around there and I noticed a big difference in sound. It isn't too loud but the bitch purrs if yaknawamean? I dunno bout injen but I am going to get Magnaflow for mine... The AEM fits like a charm btw.
