Holy balls...
Holy *****...
WOW...that's all I can say...WOW...
Vince, you're the man. Got my Trifecta tune today, 15 mins later I was swimming in 21lbs of boost. The car is a completely different beast, I can break the tires loose if I'm just cruisin' in second and go WOT. Anyone whos' wondering whether or not to pull the trigger on this mod...stop wondering...buy this fregging tune right fregging now, lol. Best...mod...EVAR.

250 bucks for the tune. It will either come on a GT Tuner handheld kit you can plug directly into your OBD2 port OR in my case I was just shipped a data cable and I was emailed the tune and software to install on my laptop. Plug the data cable into your laptop, other end into the OBD2, run the software and 15 mins later you're tuned. The data-cable only option cut shipping costs by 20 bucks, with 2nd day air shipping my grand total was 290 bucks. There isn't a more bang-for-your-buck mod out there, not even juice can compete with that price for the performance you gain.
Couldn't tell ya till I hit the dyno but the car feels completely different. I was boosting 14lbs stock, 21-22lbs with the tune. That alone should be good for another 50-70HP/TQ. I think there have been a few people here who dyno'd around 290-300WHP and 320-340WTQ with NOTHING but the tune. The tune is all I've got now, I'll be getting the CIA hotside pipe, a K&N drop in and some DR's and I'll be calling it a day.
Clear Image Automotive..ftw!! http://www.clearimageautomotive.com/
You were only running 14lbs stock? Odd, Mine puts out 18lbs stock... At least if the gauge is telling me correct anyway... Sounds like a damn good bang for your buck. I'm gonna wait till the GM stage1 kit comes out, pending costs, warrenty, etc, ya know?
Anyone else running a different stockboost number?

my dad got the ppc from hahn and tuned his car with it and like this guy said even though its a different tune the car is a beast now. but like a month after he tuned the car he was taking off kinda hard from a light and the hot side of the intercooling piping came off and smacked his hood and broke to pieces and he didnt have any boost the whole way home. he took it to the dealer latter that week and had them look at replacing the piping and they said they wouldnt because it looked like he had left a tool or something on top of the engine and closed the hood and thats what broke it. so he went back the next day and had them get ahold of detriot and they did and a gm tech up there said it could have happened so they fixed it for him under warrenty but they asked what he had done to increase the boost on it and he said nothing and they fixed it. so you might actaully be able to get away with having it tuned.
Damn...jealous!!! Mine won't be here until next weekend! However, just the hot side CIA boost piping (hot side - for now) and the CIA down pipe and I am making 20 psi...STOCK! It has been a week and the car still hasn't regulated the boost back down....can't wait to see what the tune does!!!
Yea the LNF regulates boost between 14-20PSI stock depending mainly on elevation (and a number of other factors) to make the car hit 260/260. I'm only barely 1000ft above sea level here so I only ever saw 14lbs of boost stock. For every 1000ft you climb in elevation you lose 1lb of atmospheric pressure. When I took the car up north for a weekend elevation was 5600-6600ft and I was boosting 18-19lbs the whole time but power felt the same. If you're high up there and see 18-19lbs stock, you'll still only see 22lbs max out of this tune, that's where the efficiency range of the stock K04 turbo starts to fall off.
Boost tubing is still stock, we'll see how long it lasts. I'll be getting the CIA or Vulcan hotside piping as soon as I have the extra cash to do so, I'm not worried about the cold side.
1st gear is boost limited to 10-12PSI or so, 2nd gear still retains some torque management I believe but I'm just going off how the car feels. If I go WOT in 1st and hold it the tires will smoke all the way thru the end of 2nd gear
Took the car for a datalog run today so Vince can go over everything and make sure nothing needs adjusting, car feels like it's running great but it makes me feel better to have everything checked out.
All in all...I can't say enough about this tune! VERY happy with the purchase and both CIA and Trifecta were AWESOME with great service!

Yes, the Trifecta tune is Da Bomb!
I have a second ECM tuned and kept the stocker if I need it. 5 min swap including removing the pos. battery cable.
Vince did an excellent job on the tune. It takes some getting used to smoking both front tires just by flooring it in second when the boost builds. I've been grinning ear to ear for a week and a half now.
21 - 22 lbs. boost on command. No clutch slippage issues.

Vince also took a look at the datalogs I made today and in his words said "everything looks great, there is nothing I can do to make the tune any better". Wewt!
I think the data cable may be an extra 200 or 250 if you keep it but I'm sending it back. It essentially just replaces the little handheld unit so long as you have a laptop to plug the cable into.
