Hey guys I have the RIU stage 1 installed right now and was wondering if the 2.8 will work with the gmpp stage one sort of like my own stage setup. And was also wondering if I put a header and a cam set up if the new injectors will keep up with it. Read my other mods. Please no flaming just answers. Or should I stay with RIU and get the superturbo setup when it comes out.

I have been told that the GM Stage 1 & 2 Injectors should keep up to about 280 - 300 hp and then they will run out. They Stage injectors increase the maximum flow about 23% to 5.3 grams per second rating from 4.3 grams per second for the production injectors. You also need to recalibrate to use them.

What # injectors (or CC) would you be using?

 

the ones from the stage kit

 

I realize that but what are the size of the injectors?

 

5.3 grams a second, or 42.5 lbs or 440 cc. Whatever you want to measure them in...

 

Yeah 440 CC injectors are big and should yield you enough fuel to run over 300 fine.
