Lowering w/ warranty???

I just got some 17's for my car i know its gonna be ridin high i want to lower it but ive still got 5 years and 70k on my warranty has anyone had any serious issues with lowering it; ie ball joints hubs etc and would my warranty be void with lowering it; the rims are simple enough to just change when i have problems but changing springs everytime can be a pain lol please let me know

some SS/SC springs would lower it. It would look better but not crazy dropped, and the springs would look stock and even have GM numbers on them. You'd have to have a very determined or knowledgeable tech to screw with you with SS springs in.

But yeah, because of the times if you put aftermarket springs in you can pretty much be sure that suspension/ride height related failures wouldnt be covered unless your dealer is awesome or retarded.
