Is the stock exhaust really really loud on everyones ss/sc?

I mean, Mine is louder than most of all the cars that I have seen with aftermarket exhaust... When I looked at it, it measures, 3 in and is all mandrel bent. Does that sound like all of the others here? I am not sure if it is stock or not. I bought the car with 6k miles on it,.

 

no its not stock but I don't know what aftermarket exhuast it is

 

my ss sounds louder then your average car as far as the exhaust, and now that i have my intake the exhaust gurgles and pops, its sweet, ill never change out the exhaust

 

I was part of a production last week and somebody filmed me driving off and I heard it.... louder than I thought! It has a kind farty tone to it.

 

What you runnin' ?

 

See mine does that tooo... The first time it did popped when I was getting off of the express way and I thought that "this is going to get annoying..."

But when I fire into it, it is deffening in the car with the windows up...

 

put on the corsa and you will know what deafenning is.

i came from a civic with the loudest exhaust on earth lol, had an n1 style catback, holy crap, i couldnt drive on the highway without wearign ear plugs, not to mention it vibrated everything apart lol, never doing that agian

 

for a stock exhaust its not bad...i dont know whats up with yours,,,but i cant even hear mine unless its at certain rpm's...i personally think the stock exhaust is too high pitched, and a little raspy... im still looking for a nice deep exhaust tone

 

Stock exaust sucks *****.

When I first got my stick I couldnt tell when to shift because I couldnt hear the damn car. Put my magnaflow on and been happy ever since!

Now I got whine that screams at bitchez and also tells me when I should stop whoopin someones ass

SRT4 exhaust

The stock system is mild-mannered. Install Corsa's sport system and you and everyone within a couple hundered yards of your car will understand loud. I have goosed it a couple of times around shopping centers and gotten the "hornblasters" reaction.

 

the exhaust loud? lol thats a joke...seriously none of these cars are loud.. even with the exhaust you buy its not really "loud" its more annoying then anything with the bumble bee sounds goin on..

you wanna hear loud come ride in my 5.0.. you will see what lobe/car shaking/loud exhaust is

 

I want a exhuast that is really low and throaty! I dont want it so sound ricey! What kind should i get?

 

you bought the wrong car..
your not going to get that deep gargle exhaust tone out of a 4 banger.. thats not how it works..

exhuast tone is 5% exhuast 95% cam specs

 

I know, but i want it as close as possible. I hate high toned exhausts. That srt-4 is sounding good! Wonder what they have.?

 

for a four banger, this SRT4 has a pretty throuty sound to it...pretty deep i think...sorry asstime im going to have to disagree with you when u say this is all too farty for you ...farty to me is the tin can exhausts that u hear most honda civics rolling with...but to each his own

^^^Dont forget that the SRT has no mufflers. Take off the exaust, and it literally sounds like a diesel.

 

i really doubt the exhaust is 3" mandrel bent stock
you must be measuring the exhaust tip
measure the actual pipe's circumference, do some math, and figure out the diameter

 

if thats what you consider "throaty" well.. to each his own i guess.. but imo im sorry but that is not throaty at all.. but i guess if thats as throaty as it can get with 4 banger.. then dido
