I have a 2006 SS/SC and recently I've been hearing strange sounds coming out of the transmission.

When I drive slow or hard there is no noise at all while the acceleration paddle is being pressed.
But if I lift off the the gas and just let the car roll while in gear, I hear a weird grinding noise.

If I'm going, say, 60MPH and I take my foot off the accel the noise start almost immediately, when I press it again or put the car in neutral, the noise goes away.

Anybody else experienced this?

All tips are welcome, before I go to the stealership where I expect to get raped almost instantly

Hey Bro, I have almost the same problem! Mine was whenever I touched the pedal.. Man it was make a weird ass grinding noise had tons of people listen to said they didn't hear nothing..

2 Weeks later after a 7hr trip to panama city beach and back.. I lost 2nd gear.. The following day I had NONE.. Dealer took it apart.. Syncros went bad and basically fucked my whole tranny.. Trying to find another LSD for a 05 Redline
