Per GM Service Manual, ALL Cobalts have the same ride height. As measure inboard of the pinchweld, 21.4" away from the center of the hub, its 224mm, and in the back, similar measuremount from ground to floor of car 22" in front of center or rear wheel = 233mm. ALL Cobalts.

Correct. Unless every Cobalt service manual is wrong.

it's not the ride height so much as the amount of wheel gap.

there is no doubt the intention of the GMPD folks to supply ss/sc springs that would trim the car 10 mm lower. That may have changed in production; also, the GM service info. may not reflect this..

I know the 10mm spec gets thrown around a lot, and I am not sure where it comes from, apparently it was in a lot of the media at launch.

There is a definite difference in trim height(suspension height in relation to body) of the different levels. The FE5 is actually 13mm lower in the front, and 25mm lower in the rear but the tire sizes make all the ride heights the same.
