Stock intake breather broke

So, I noticed tonight that my breather broke on the stock intake tube. Anyone else have this problem? I stole this picture from CIA Dan's intake problems explored thread to show you the piece I am talking about. I have no idea how this happend. I can't get it into the shop till Friday, anyone think there is a problem driving it without a good seal on that part?

Mine too;same place. Fixed under warranty(took a few days for part to come in). I taped up the intake good wi duct tape and taped a small cloth loosely around end of breather hose;also avoided hi rpm's so tape wouldn't get sucked into the works-dealer tech said my tape job was sufficient although I'm not sure his concern matches mine...Don't know what caused it other than vibrations/cheap plastic.I did open my airbox to have a peek @ the OEM filter once; I'd hate to think my "reckless behaviour" caused it.

Yeah, too bad CIA's intake isn't out yet or I'd just get it and not worry about screwing with the dealer. Come to think of it I just checked my airfilter a couple days ago too, maybe it is just that fragile.
