forget the CAI, and exhaust is all up to you, and how much you want to spend.

find w/e 2.5" exhaust sounds best to you, (hopefully stainless), and pair it with the ZZP midlength combo, or the vibrant combo, or the cia combo.

depends on how you want to go, go view my last few threads and watch my videos...thats an N/A cammed and every other bolt on ls
you can see other turboed and scd cobalts in the 2.2 l61 section too...it depends on how you want to go

Depends on your end goal, do you want instant power (N/A) massive power but slow build (turbo) medium power boost no lag (SC)

You wont be able to do a supercharger spaw on your own if you dont have much automotive experience. Anything that yields a substantial hp increase isnt something you can usually do in your garage unfortunately. It gets expensive fast lol

full bolton 2.2 with a good tune if its a 5 speed can be a low 15 second car with a good driver.

Ah that explains the posting without looking around the site much.

Any who, do more research on all aspects of each option and on the car in general. Get some grease under your fingernails man. Doing any modification to your car is going to cost money one way or another. Whether its in inital parts and you doing the work, or giving it to a shop and them charging you out the ass for the labor. Sure it can be irritating to do all the work yourself, but when something breaks you don't look like an ass that doesn't know what is wrong with his car.

My advice: Do all the work on your car you can, if you don't know how ask somebody who actually knows about cars (friend or relative) and I'm not talking about the honda kids that think they know everything and think putting a 5" exhaust on their 1.8L motor will give them 1,000,000hp. I'm talking the guys that have been working on cars for a long time and know their way around multiple makes and models of cars (my resource is my dad, I swear the guy knows everything about cars, and if he doesnt know something, he can figure it out)

Bolt ons as in, CAI, header, DP, catback and a good trifecta tune. For now just get used to the car, your a brand new driver, last thing we need is u putting on a supercharger and wrecking your car, hurting you or someone else because you dont have enough experience behind the wheel.

Trust me, its not worth it, and laws are very strict on N drivers, one speeding ticket and you can lose your license for up to a year and then have to re-take the driving test and start all over. Not to mention a speeding ticket= VERY expensive and will give you higher insurance rates

best guy to talk to is Rob, he owns a base model pontiac G5, which is the identical car as your ls cobalt. Hes gone from stock, to full boltons to a full supercharged build now.

His forum name is Robhole, send him a PM, he can help point u in the right direction
