Golding Oxitaion On Exh. Tip

Ive Got A Tsudo Cat Back And The Tip Is Starting To Turn Gold Anybody Have Any Ideas On How To Get Rid Of It Ive Been Using Eagle One's Never Dull Butt It Doesnt Really Get Rid Of The Golding I Can Get Some Blueing And Gold Oxidation Remover For Like Six Bucks But Wasnt Sure If Anyone Had Any Ideas

but really. i never had this problem but i think that it's gonna happen
you're gonna need to get some stainless polish and use that. best bet imho. just use some elbow grease.

lol yeah sorry bout that the cap locks was on and the site kicked it like that
but yeah i might try a bore "paste" like polish cause the eagle one is a cotton wadding with the polish in it can't really get any elbow grease to it; no quite strong enough

hmmm, ive never seen an exhaust tip turn gold, to be honest that actually sounds kinda cool imo, black car with gold wheels, the exhaust tip would look kinda cool if the edge of it was gold, im sure you could try some kind or really really high grit sand paper, like 2000 grit or something and wetsand it to get the gold part off the top and then polish it

^what he said. i had to do that to the fine scratches that were on the tip when i bought my exhaust used. it looks like new now
