ALSO: some people from San Antonio Imports are having a meet at Canyon Lake and said we are welcomed to join them if we like so we decided why the hell not and join them so here is the plan meet at Landa Park in NewBruanfels around 11:30 wait til 12:30 and then roll out to Canyon Lake and meet up with SAI.

Well the meet will be this weekend I'll be there no matter what.

 

Is anyone driving down from DFW or the Waco area? I got the day off and thought about coming down. I missed the last at the last minute because I couldn't get my watch covered. I want to be down there early enough to find a good car wash to wash off the road dirt.

 

Theres only 4 people that I know of that are going 1-cobalt SS(me) 1-SS/SC, 1-SRT4, and a redline coming in from Houston. Not sure if anyone plans on coming from the DFW area but if you can find anyone yall more than welcome to come on down.

 

So hows the weather down there right now and tomorrow? I'm going to check map quest to find this park once I get to San Antonio.

If it's Landa Park, I see I take 35 south but I don't know the exit or where you guys are meeting up. I'll be leaving here by 8:00 which should put me there by noon or so. What time is everyone supposed to meet up? I'll check back in the morning.

 

I'll be there by 1130, the weather will be clear. The parks in New Braunfels which is north of San Antonio. Here is directions for you now these are directions from the website.

Take IH 35 South, towards San Antonio.

Exit at Exit #189 and turn right on HWY 46/Loop 337.

Follow Loop 337 to California Street (several miles).

Turn left onto California Street (a residential area).

California Street becomes Landa Park Drive and brings you into the middle of the park.

Now I don't know if the bridge in the park is still out so watch out. Don't crash or splash into the water JK Like I said these are directions the park is giving so hopefully they are good. We are gonna meet by the bridge so you will see us. Heres a map of the park for a reference. Hope you find the park easy and have a safe ride coming down here.

 

Thanks for the help. I'll be leaving in about an hour. I'll probably be fashionably late. If I see a car wash on the way, I'll stop and get a quick job done. We had some real bad storms last night, luckily all the hail stayed north of my house. There were reports of a few small tornadoes touching down.
