With the stock internals on a 2.0L what is the smallest pulley you can run on oh a Harrop supercharger with out blowing the engine??? I was gonna run a stage 5 kit with a 2.5" pulley with a ported and polished M62 but i want the Harrop so i need some info!!!!! Thanks for all your help!

3" area... you'll need pretty much full cooling mods too if you start with that small of a pulley.

A 2.5" on a TVS? Thats nuts! But badass if the car runs properly and has mad cooling mods to support it.

smaller than a 3" on an unported head really isnt beneficiary. Its not like a turbo where you can just ram more air in and see power gains....if only it were tho! lol

you can blow your engine on a stock m62 pulley. Its about the tune, driver, and supporting mods.

I would not recommend droping below a 2.75" unless you have head work and a set of cams (that won't destroy lash adjusters)

So, with a good tune, no head work, cai, full exhaust, cams, 60lb injectors, 2 step cooler sparkplugs, duel pass end plate with opt. B, Heat exchanger, ported and polished intake, and return fuel system, i should be able to run a 2.75" pulley on a harrop correct? will i see much of a difference between a 2.75 and a 3" pulley with that set up??? any other suggestions, i want as much hp as possible with out doing major engine work!!! i will get head work later, lol Thanks for all your help!

you will DEFFINITLY want meth, and you gotta pay to play dude. get the supporting mods first if you wanna just drop pulley sizes. head work, pistons, maybe even a clutch setup.

With the amount of air that thing pushes YES there is a big difference between the 2.75 and the 3"

Add meth to that setup and you'll be good to go with a DAMN SOLID TUNE!

Most good tuners... dyno tune then perfect it on the street. Because street tuning has a different air flow hence tunes will be different.

And if you don't know what you are doing with HPT don't mess with it.... you can do just as much harm (actually more) as you can good with it!
