Does anybody know how much the HP gain is from a AEM cold air??

anyone know how much horses the aem cold air intake for the supercharged ss gains?

You will hear more of a difference than feel with any CAI . Your looking at 5-6 whp tops.

Its better than airbox mod, but I wouldn't get the AEM. I had problems and had to get rid of mine, get a full pipe intake with an oiled filter instead.

ok EROD where am i supposed to put topics about intakes then?? i didnt find any subtitle about intakes so i just put it under general cobalt talk..isnt that what it is?

Ive heard of problems if you don't run a hydroshield. Hell the K&N comes with one but AEM was too cheap to include it lol. I like the AEM , no cel , sounds great and it's stealthy by using the factory piping. I've always ran a Hshield thou otherwise it will soak up liquid like a tampon .

Yes, correct. I've had a stock airbox, AEM, then airbox mod. The AEM definitely delivered more power up top..

lol couldnt you have asked this in the other aem post yo had? that ALSO had to get moved by EROD? man the newbs we pull in now a days......
while your at it dont listen to the guy that said use a oiled filter. thats bad mmk
