ok i ordered the cti 3inch downpipe from ottp 3 WEEKS AGO and still nothing. i talk to josh and he KEEPS telling me its shipping tomorrow.. oh its shipping tomorrow forsure... wtf ! still nothing. anyone else have this problem? i ususally have nothing bad to say about them but now wtf! i tell everyone to go there but after this sh*t idk its bs and im just really pissed off. 3 WEEKS and still waiting on it to leave their place. when ordered it says 5 days not 3 weeks. anyone had any problems like this? also who else makes a nice downpipe? im bout to cancel that sh*t. hows the zzp dp anyone have it? and if i get the 2.5 will it bolt up to my factor header and my gmpp exhaust? or should i just order it from the cti website?

i ordered 60's the tune and the dp all in one order .. sent me pcm in.. got that back with the injectors and no dp. asked him.. said it would ship seperate tomorrow.. nothing... asked him couple days later... oh its shipping tomorrow... still nothing.. told me 2 days ago.. its shipping tomorrow forsure...NOTHING

well just messaged him.. told him i want to cancel it.. but let me guess hes gonna say oh it shipped out already. and i know its BS and if i get it 1/2 of me wants to send it back for a refund and order it from the cti site themselves

OP sorry to hear, I had good service with them so far.. Might think diff. in the future for those kinds of parts.

It is crazy that it takes them this long and they are giving you the run around because anytime someone asks about a mod and we know OTT has a good part we suggest buy it from there, and 9/10 they do.

 

the thing is i shouldnt have to.....i paid for the stuff.. its their job to keep me informed if its gonna take longer than expected... not lying to me saying its shipping out tomorrow liek 1 million times ! this is bs

yea NONE of my cobalt buddies here knew about them ive told them all about them and all this good stuff and now... when i see them all tonight im gonna tell them whats the deal. theirs a ton of cobalts here.. were East Coast Cobalts.. go everywhere for meets and sh*t.. but im tellin everyone now.. def not ordering from them anymore.. was about to order the new axels but not ne more.. getting them else where

it wont make a difference if you order it direct from cti or not. the cti pipes are hand made by the same guy. i dont think this is OTT's issue, but an issue from CTI itself. PM lsjwannabe. he will help you out ASAP.

 

wow, thank god I got away from dealing with cobalt kids.... I seriously was ready to stab a ****** when helping out with C/A. When vendors don't stock an item (CTI makes em per order) They are at the mercy of the company that makes the **** (CTI) you got beef, go **** with CTI. I've spent a retarded amount of money with OTTP and not once have I been done Dirty.

I think its a matter of what is actually in stock. When they say "shipping out tomorrow" it is probably because that is what CTI is telling THEM. Understand that OTTP doesnt take delivery on any CTI products. They are shipped directly from CTI to you.

Sucks to hear but I think your real problem is with CTI.

never had a problem with ottp, but dont go with the zzp dp, people are having problems with the flex pipe to 3 bolt flange part of it leaking. (its pressed on...)

 

As much as I dislike ZZP. It wasn't their fault with those (same **** happened to cobalt addiction). Vibrant (company that makes the flex joint) sent them out with-out welds to a lot of places. A lot of people had issues with that, mine held up for 2 years though (odd I know). I do know C/A now drills and spot welds em, can't tell you about ZZP though.

 

meh, I'm having a simallar problem at them moment... but I'm gonna let it slide for a few more days, due to what the product is, but if I don't get something soon, I'ma start getting a bit upset...

 

did you ever think it might be cti who is telling them that? do you really think if they had it in stock, you wouldn't have had it already?

It says allow 5 days to make not ship. I just ordered one last week so i can't relate to your pain yet, because it hasn't been that long. I hope I don't have to wait that long. The only problem I had with OTTP and this downpipe was they never answerd my e-mails with the questions I had about it. The only reason I bought it was due to members on here that assured me that it's a great down pipe with good gains.

 

Problem is theyre not neccessarily lying to you. CTI could be telling OTTP "were shipping tomorrow", so OTTP has to trust that and relay it to you.

If theres one thing about OTTP thats for certain, is they are NOT going to lie to you.
