I've already returned the argon bottle, so although it would weld, it would be messy.

Forgot to mention, it comes with a bunch of extra tips too.

I know. It's a lot.

I bought it because I knew a snap on dealer and I was able to finance it through him. At the time, that's the only way I could afford a welder.

For $3000 you can get a lot better welders than a snapon welder, but for $800 you can't go wrong with this.

I've welded everything from door and fender sheet metal, to car frames, to 1/4" plate steel, to case hardened spider gears. NEVER had a problem with it.

The cool thing about this is you can use it with a regular house outlet, it's got a great duty cycle, and the main welding unit comes off of the cart, has a 12' lead, so you can leave the welder in your shop and bring the welder to your project.

This model is capable of welding aluminum, but you have to get an aluminum gun for it. That doesn't come with it, it's an extra accessory. Sorry.

I've got 3 other adds in the classifieds here. xbox360, steel battalion games, and my wifes motorcycle.

In addition I have a weldpro torch cart. It's basically new, 1 yr old. It holds 2 full size torch bottles. It was $250 new, I'll take $100.

I've also got a bunch of odds and ends, like metal ramps for changing the oil on your car, metal ramps for loading a atv into a truck, oil drain buckets, a 2.5 hp shop vac..... I dunno...

No, I agree. Like I said, I bought it SOLEY because I was able to get it on $40.00 per month payments....

Of course, that was 4 years ago too, so prices were higher then, but surprisingly snapon hasnt dropped their price on this much...

When I bought it, it retailed for $3600, and after financing it, I paid $4200 for it!
