Headlight bulb burnt again ...

Hi,

My headlight bulb (PIAA Xtreme White Plus) Burnt again so now my low beams don't work again. I'm thinking of getting an HID conversion kit such as :

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...&highlight=hid

EDIT : I'll have to read in more detail here cause I'm starting to notice that you need projectors. So it will cost me 400$ to convert to HID's properly. Maybe I'll stick with bying cheap bulbs every 4-5 months.

Which brand of bulbs do you recommend? Luminics or Philips or any others? (9007 size)

Thanks

Gabriel

No HID"s in stock housings. And if you keep burning up bulbs, stop touching the glass bulb itself.

the piaas sucked for me too.

you're not going to get around a shorter life with the brighter halogen bulbs. best ive found for life/brightness mix were philips crystalvision xtras.

So forget the HID's for now ...

I guess I'll give the Philips crystalvision xtras a try cause I'm tired of putting 90$ on a set of PIAA's that last 4-5 months. I've read around and the philips seems to be not so bad.

Thanks for the input guys!

I've heard that they blow out just as quickly as the PIAA's so I want to try something else for now. Thanks though!
