Don't bother. If someone wants your wheels, they will get them whether you have locks or not.

Save the $50 towards your next set of wheels in case someone takes your current ones!

They're only $16-$20. I'll think about it though, I have heard they are worthless as well when buying them for the Mustang.

Oh. Save the $16-$20 then!

Our lugs are 12x1.5mm thread pitch. It's in the Wheel FAQ thread that is stickied.

Thanks. Do you happen to know the stock hex size for the lugnuts? Is it 19mm, 3/4", or 13/16"?

19mm but 3/4" will work. They are almost identical.

Thanks! I just noticed it says METRIC on my stock lugnuts, so that answers my question about 19mm vs 3/4"

I placed the order for them only because the final price was $5 shipped for the locks.

Amazon has them for $16 (free shipping with $25 order or more) but I ordered them from Summit since they gave me $20 summit bucks to spend. I just had to pay for s/h.

there's always a way. its the same reason why my uncle doesn't want to buy locking nuts for his M5. if they want them that bad they'll find a way.

I heard they freeze the McGards with liquid nitrogen and smash them with a hammer/chisel.
You can use grips/clamps on the Gorilla nuts due to how they're designed.

A co-worker had all 4 stock 18" alloys stolen from her G6 that was parked in her driveway (no locks).
Someone on the Crown Vic forums said they used McGards on his Marauder and the thieves were having a hard time trying to take the wheels. He bought enough time to catch them in the process. The dealerships here use McGards for cars parked in their lots that are closest to pedestrian traffic.

They're probably as useless as the club to a professional.

yeah. i hear that. there was a galant parked across the street from where i worked that had some oz's and locks, i know cause i talked to the guy. about a month later his car was on a tree stump.

thieves used a jack to lift up the rear and slid a huge log under the car and took the rims. jacked the front and did the same. the car sat on the rotors for about 2 weeks before he got replacement steelies.
