well i got it done at 4am last night and got a video today... boost is steady now. and i benefited greatly from the vent to air 38mm... you will notice in the video the car is very quite and has a cat, resonator, muffler all 3in but its quite till i romp on it. which i love so much for DD.

for those curious its a 38mm 8psi v-band clamp tial replica, and excepts tial springs and rebuild kits

hope you enjoy... sorry for the shitty film as i was driving and holding camera.

also you will notice by the afr i am going conservative for DD and timing is at 14-16 @ wot (for this tune)

and in all honesty i don't really feel comfortable driving it on high boost and making a video myself, sorry. i need a passenger

new post because that was a video, which people with 2.0 lsj may not find. and all my update threads to my turbo build and outcome go in here.... so just cause there is a video attached doesent mean it belongs in pic/vid... ya dig...lol

also i put it in pic/vid for lnf, 2.2, 2.4 guys who are curious about turbo set-ups

now my question for you guys is why ya busting my ***** over it?

i garentee that **** will never crack or come off and thats what matters to me. and the only reason its stacked up so high is that there was a small gap and i was getting tired of grinding and fitting... so we just went with it. the inside which i forgot to take shots of is very smooth and free flowing

well i have that mbc in the pic for sale... i would go with a external like i linked you to and run a 6 or 8 psi spring with a mbc on top of that to achive desired boost... and i like being able to turn it down as low as 8 psi for just cruising or letting somone else drive or something

well i have a mbc already but i pulled it out cuz its only made to handle above 16psi...and i really cant push that much yet cuz of my plastic manifold...ill be changing that out soon. as soon as i get a saab 9-3 manifold and then...im going to be shooting for 18-22psi...wut wut...lol

and im the only one that drives the car unless i have been drinking then the wif drives it..and she love the boost...lol

ok per hahn, the correct way is to drill and tap a hole on the oposite side of the flapper and install a small bolt like 8mm or 1/4 x 20 and a jam nut and your gonna run it in till it holds tension on the flapper holding it shut the tighten the jam nut...

but yeah it was getting late so i welded the arm that protrudes from the turbo housing with a small tac weld that can be removed anytime for regular use again... i didnt really wanna put a hole in the turbo.

also remember if welding, dont weld the actual flapper shut weld the arm so it is reversible, Ya Dig!

i left my acuator installed but have no boost source attached anymore.
