Turbo Tech didn't charge me for shipping and they are great. You'll love the way the Supercharger wakes up...

Yea but look at my me and g5's location ;) We're 2000 miles northwest of you AND across the border :( On turbotech's site they don't even have a Canadian shipping option :thumbsdow

I was in the same boat, but lordco and mopac would only supply the aem model.

Anyways, how'd you get Turbotech to ship here??? Did you have to call in ur order or what? I'm gonna ask the gf to get me the Injen for my birthday in May and, bless her heart, she doesn't know sh*t about intakes :red: I'm worried i'll end up with a K&N for the 2.2 L

turbotech ships to Canada, it costs a bit more though, plus you have to deal with getting raped for duty.

my advice, since we are so close anyway, scout out a few places just over the border that sell the intake and make a day trip outta it. install the intake in the parking lot and put your stock one in the trunk. if they search the car and ask say "oh yeah, i forgot that was in there"

a place in burnaby is supposed to carry injen but i called them and they sound like a couple of shady fucknuts.

hmmm i'm liking this idea...

also, i'm in highway dispatch for a small freight brokerage firm...i have trucks all over washington, oregon, and california everyday :) Which means if we set everything up i can just get one of my drivers to pick it up while they're down south and BINGO no duty/no shipping ;) :twothumbs :twothumbs :twothumbs

I got my AEM yesterday and installed it myself in an hour. Took less than a week for it to get here. Very good experience dealing with Aaron and Turbotech. :twothumbs

$110 CDN each- $253 total at the door. They took about 20 minutes per side.

My mechanic did the springs, tranny mount and ca bushings in about 1 1\2 hours. That was me bullshitting with him as he went and him helping his employee for a few minutes twice. The tranny mount makes all the plastic in the car vibrate at startup and taking off in first. Plus the steering wheel and seat of the pants feel it as well. But no wheel hop unless I dump the clutch at 4 grand..even then when I did that (once):nono: I got 2 quick hops then rubber.

Hmmm....sounds alot better than my dealership mechanics...but then again: this is the same dealership that tried to BS me into believing that changing my own oil would void my warranty  :nono: That was the last i talked to them :bye: On a happier note, my Injen cleared customs today so i can finally de-virginify the SS :cssNET:
