have a p0455 large leak detected. so i smoked it found no leaks, gas cap is good and always on tight. what i did find is that the computer says has the vent solenoid always stating not venting so im going to try to order a pcm just wondering if any one else has ran into this type off problem

 

My dealer replaced the maf and recalibrated the ecm to fix that cel.

 

to fix an EVAP emissions system leak? wtf...

 

yea if anything it would be the M.A.P becuase the system uses it to sence vacuum but the MAF

 

I have the same code on my ss/sc, about to go to the dealer to have them do a smoke test.

 

Puzzling i know, but there was no leak they checked, it was some software issue at best.

 

Have you filled up on gas recently with the car running?

 

My saab 9-3 got that code pretty frequently

 

no filling up with the car running lol im not that stupid and this is where it gets really messed every day going to work takes like 15 mins the check gas cap lite would come on in the same spot but not every day. ive leak tested this thing did multiple test with vent rates purge rates they all checked out good. as for updates there are none i checked bullitens called tech assist yea no help.
